ORGANIZATIONS WE SUPPORT
PAWS
PAWS is a champion for animals—rehabilitating injured and orphaned wildlife, sheltering and adopting homeless cats and dogs, and educating people to make a better world for animals and people. I chose the organization PAWS for two reasons. The former being I absolutely love PAWS, I think their mission is great and they take amazing care of the animals. Also I have a connection with them through another organization I have called Cats Cuddles. I make and donate catnip cat toys to PAWS. The latter reason is that I love animals. I have an adorable cat of my own, his name is Maximus, and a dog named Josie. I love them to pieces just like the people at PAWS love the animals. So do good and make a difference, support PAWS.

The University District Food Bank
Through collaboration with eight local Seattle public schools, University District Food Bank provides meals and snacks to children who are at risk of going hungry on the weekend when free or reduced school meals are unavailable. These packs of food contain items that are age-appropriate, nutritious, simple to prepare, and easy to take home in a school bag.

My Girl Scout troop volunteered at the UDistrict Food Bank. We helped cut fabric for their new rooftop garden. We used nearly all of our Girl Scout cookie money to buy food for the "Packs for Kids" program. I am supporting this organization because it is making a difference in the lives of kids right here in our community. It is really important for kids to have food for meals during the weekend so that they can be healthy. I hope you will support the UDistrict Food Bank too.
